LED wall feeds designed for the screen at the ground

An LED wall is not a big television. It is a low pixel pitch at a long viewing distance, usually in daylight, seen by a crowd that is not watching closely. A stream overlay scaled up to fill it looks thin and reads badly. These are separate layouts, built for that screen.

What goes on the wall

01
Big score

The score at a size a crowd reads from the far boundary, with the detail a spectator actually wants.

02
Batter and bowler

Who is in, who is bowling, and the current partnership - the questions the crowd asks.

03
Auction display

The player on the block, the current bid, the bidding team and purse left, for auction day.

04
Team line-ups

Both squads with photos at the toss and between innings.

05
Sponsor loop

Full-wall sponsor cards in the dead time, which is when the wall earns its hire cost.

06
Replay and live

The live camera feed or a replay on the wall for the crowd behind the action.

Built for LED, not borrowed from the stream

  • Heavier type and stronger contrast, because an LED wall in sunlight loses the subtle greys that look fine on a laptop.
  • The canvas matches your wall's real pixel dimensions, so nothing is stretched or letterboxed.
  • Field-level visibility toggles - turn off what your wall is too small to carry instead of shrinking everything.
  • Its own sponsor rotation, independent of the stream, since the crowd and the online audience are different audiences.

Auction day on the wall

The player auction app drives the LED wall directly, with themes built for a split-screen auction room display - the player, the bid, the teams and their remaining purse. A public display token means the wall can be driven from any machine at the venue without logging anyone in on it.

Questions we get asked

Before you enquire

Do you supply the LED wall as well?
We can arrange the wall and its crew along with the production, or feed a wall that the venue or another vendor is already providing. Send us the wall's pixel dimensions either way.
Can the wall show something different from the stream?
Yes, and it usually should. The wall gets the big score and the sponsor loop; the stream gets the detailed bug and the lower thirds.
Can we run the wall ourselves?
Yes. The display runs in a browser on a machine at the venue using a public display token, so your own volunteer can keep it on screen.
